During the first half (15 minutes), Dr. al Shaibah will speak briefly to her academic and professional background, experiences, positionality, and areas of inquiry and interest.
The second half (15 minutes), Dr. al Shaibah will review her recent paper which will appear in the 2023 edition of the Canadian Ethnic Studies Journal.
